Maria Klein earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University in 1987. She has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice since 1990. She is married and has four children.

Why should you seek counseling?

Do you carry painful secrets, silent sorrows, bitterness and anger through your life? My job is to help you release the burdens you carry.  You will have an opportunity to examine the paths you have taken, and to make new decisions about your life.  In therapy with me you will learn to “come home to yourself.”  Perhaps you have lead a life to please others, or in rebellion of others.  Have you forgotten who you are, and what is important to you?  Do you desire to be genuine and authentic, instead of always trying to meet the expectations of others?  Seek counseling to let go of the pain you live in, and to experience greater fulfillment in your life's work.

When should you seek counseling?

No matter what has happened to you; no matter what you have done; no matter what you fear;  it's not too late to change and to heal.
